The Softa Ecosystem

KHOZU

KHOZU connects search and explanation with the evidence behind them. Its information model preserves origin, context and freshness instead of treating a confident answer as the end of the journey.

Search is an evidence relationship

KHOZU is a separate search, discovery, evidence and freshness product within Softa's institutional architecture. It is not only a feature name inside a social platform. Its role is to manage how eligible information is found, ranked and related to a question, including the evidence that remains available to the reader.

A result, an answer and a source have different responsibilities. Retrieval finds material; ranking orders eligible results; synthesis can explain selected material; citation provides a route back to its basis. Collapsing these into a single unexplained output makes a service convenient without necessarily making it dependable.

Freshness is more than a recent timestamp

The architecture distinguishes the date of an event, the date of publication, the time of retrieval and a later correction. Re-reading an old article today does not make its claim current. A changed rule, superseded product release or corrected report may alter the usefulness of an answer even when the underlying page remains accessible.

This matters for local information as well as major news. Opening hours, eligibility, a merchant offer and a public-service instruction have different update needs. A freshness system must preserve uncertainty where the source does not establish the present state.

A private question is not an advertising profile

The KHOZU constitution separates an authorised query from hidden cross-product inference. Private SNDESH content, restricted ZKTOR audiences and private commerce, payroll or accounting material are excluded from general search by default. Access to a particular enterprise source remains governed by that source’s permissions.

Commercial placements remain distinguishable from organic evidence. Affiliated publishing does not receive the authority of independent corroboration merely because it belongs to the same ecosystem. These distinctions connect search usefulness with both user privacy and information integrity.

Building strategic independence

Provider-assisted retrieval can create a useful initial service, but it is not the same as owning a crawler or index. KHOZU's staged model treats each capability separately: provider diversity, hybrid retrieval, crawling, indexing, ranking and evidence systems. The relevant questions include source rights, quality, operating cost and the ability to replace a dependency.

Each stage develops a different form of control: the ability to select providers, sustain retrieval, manage eligible source material, build an index and evaluate ranking. Current access and release details remain attached to the corresponding service announcement.
