Sunil Kumar Singh is an Indian-origin Finnish technology entrepreneur and researcher, Founder and CEO of Softa Technologies Limited, and Chief Architect of ZKTOR.
For over twelve years, I have walked the quiet path of research and building, not chasing headlines, not seeking shortcuts, but laying the foundations of a sovereign digital and economic future for Bharat. In this journey, I have learned that technology divorced from society is hollow, and society without technology is vulnerable.
Softa Technologies Limited was born not out of capital markets or foreign venture funds, but out of a resolve to serve Bharat, its rural youth, its civilizational memory, its economic dignity. We resisted the temptation of quick capital because independence is the first condition of vision.
Today, as we stand on the brink of launching platforms like ZKTOR, Hola AI, Subkuz, and Ezowm, and as we advance transformative projects like Jharkhand Udhyam Shakti, a Medico-Agritech revolution to harness Bharat’s Green Gold, our mission is clear:

Softa is not my story, it is your story, our story, Bharat’s story, a story of dignity, sovereignty, and resurgence. With every product, every project, every initiative, we are moving towards the vision of Bharat not only as self-reliant but as a Vishva Shakti and Vishva Guru.
Sunil Kumar Singh is an Indian-origin Finnish technology entrepreneur and researcher, Founder and CEO of Softa Technologies Limited, and Chief Architect of ZKTOR. Originally from Aurangabad, Bihar, he has spent more than two decades in Finland. His professional focus is the development of privacy-centred digital systems that connect social participation with local enterprise. He traces the work behind ZKTOR to twelve years of India-focused research shaped by rural needs and European privacy culture.
His technical work centres on Privacy and Data Safety by Design, embedding limits on the collection, access and use of personal information into system architecture. His areas of work include user-directed social media, protected communication, country-specific data systems and No URL Media Architecture designed to limit link-based extraction of protected photographs and videos. At Softa, he leads a development programme linking social media, messaging, search, AI assistance, advertising and business services, with separate permissions for different activities.
Singh's broader focus is on women's online dignity, child safety and local-language accountability, alongside economic participation for creators, micro, small and medium enterprises, and local service providers. He advocates frugal engineering, software reuse and independent control over technology and data use. His stated financing approach excludes government grants, Finnish or EU funding, external venture capital and business-house backing. His objective is to develop technology in India that adapts to different societies, enabling people to communicate, work and earn without making privacy dependent on technical expertise.
